Our Little Pond Cottage is a wonderful, modern cabin, renovated in 2019 and nestled in the woods beside ThorpeWood’s Willow Pond. The cottage can sleep up to 4 (one queen size sofa bed and Queen size bed in loft) has a full bath, kitchen, breakfast nook and screened porch, with a swinging single bed. Off the deck outside the kitchen is everyone’s favorite—a hot and cold water outside shower.

The cottage is conveniently located on the ThorpeWood property and guests can access several trails, walk to the farm and visit our farm animals, and sits on our tranquil spring-fed pond. Guests may lounge on the screened porch, sun on the deck or the dock and fish…take a swim in the summer, it’s glorious!

  • Biking – bring yours to bike the Frederick Watershed
  • Fire ring – behind cottage
  • Fishing – bring your on pole/rod – catch and release
  • Hiking on trails both on our property and in local parks Catoctin Mountain Park, Cunningham Falls State Park, Gambrill State Park and the Frederick Watershed!
  • Bird Watching – binoculars are in the cottage
